“A boudoir shoot is something every woman should experience”

‘Boudoir’ originally  comes from the French word ‘Bouder‘ - meaning ‘to pout’. It is also used to describe a lady’s bedroom or private sitting room.

Nowadays there are so many different genres of boudoir photography, including vintage, burlesque, pin-up and bridal boudoir, and each one of our shoots is tailored to compliment that of the individual client.

No matter what age, shape or size you are - we give our word that you will come away feeling beautiful and empowered.

Boudoir shoots are a special and unique experience and guarantee to be an amazing gift for Valentines day, Christmas, Wedding day, Hen Party, or just a present to yourself!

Your shoot - What you can expect:

Your shoot will be with talented, female photographer Kayte Allen who specialises in portrait and boudoir photography. At the beginning of the shoot (before the camera even comes out of the bag!) you will sit down with Kayte over a chilled glass of champagne (or a cuppa, whichever you prefer!) and discuss exactly what it is you would like from your session. If you have opted to have your hair and make up styled for you then you can discuss with our stylist how you would like to look. Kayte will be providing guidance every step of the way from hair and make-up, to props and poses.

If you wish you can begin with some shots wearing your jeans or day-to-day clothes,  just to ensure you feel relaxed in front of the camera, you can then move on to more unique poses  - baring as much or as little as you feel comfortable. Remember this shoot is all about you.

After your shoot Kayte will spend time editing and retouching your photographs as necessary. You will then be provided with login details for your own private viewing gallery where you can choose your favourite images.

All that’s left is for you to decide who is lucky enough to take a peek at your pictures, or where on your wall you are going to hang them for all to see!
